RYDER CUP PRIZE DRAW – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions apply:

  1. This competition is only open to entrants who are over the age of 18 years and residing in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany and Sweden. In compliance with French law, the terms and conditions have been deposited with Simonin, Le Marec & Guerrier SCP, Huissiers de Justice Associés, 54 rue Taitbout, 75009, Paris. Entrants from each country are competing in the same competition.
  2. Entrants expressly declare and represent that (i) they submit to English law in participating in this competition and (ii) they are individuals and not a company or any professional and/or commercial entity.
  3. Only one entry per person is allowed.
  4. Entry to the prize draw is free. No purchase is necessary.
  5. Damaged or defaced entries will be disqualified.
  6. The Welsh Assembly Government will allocate the individual prize to the winner.
  7. The prize comprises two grounds tickets for The 2010 Ryder Cup matches at The Celtic Manor Resort, taking place from 1 to 3 October 2010. Twin accommodation in Cardiff for the nights 30 September, 1, 2 and 3 October. Daily parking passes at one of the official Park & Ride facilities or official ground transportation passes. Travel to Wales is not included, however, travel expenses incurred in order to take up the prize will be reimbursed; up to a value of £300 (receipts will be required). The maximum total prize value is £1,600 (1,800€ approximately).
  8. All entries to be received by 00.01 hours on 30 August 2010.
  9. The draw for the tickets will be made on 6 September 2010 and the winner will be informed by e-mail immediately after the draw.
  10. The name of the winner will be made available after 6 September 2010 and for a further 28 days to anyone sending their e-mail address to Caroline Davies, Welsh Assembly Government, at caroline.davies@wales.gsi.gov.uk in a message with the subject heading ‘The 2010 Ryder Cup Draw’.
  11. Prize is non-transferable. No cash or other alternative will be offered.
  12. The winner agrees to use his/her name and photography in future publicity.
  13. The judge’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  14. Winners must ensure that travel documents are in order.
  15. Photographic identification (passport or driving licence) will be required both for ticket collection and for security checks on entry to the venue. The Welsh Assembly Government cannot accept any responsibility if admittance to the venue is refused due to lack of or incorrect identification.
