Our First Ryder Cup

Golf as it should be

We enjoyed welcoming the golfing world to Wales during the Ryder Cup. And we think you’ll agree that it was one of the most exciting ever. But the Ryder Cup wasn’t just about The Celtic Manor Resort or its stunning Twenty Ten Course. It also threw a spotlight on golf throughout Wales and the unique way we play the game – golf as it should be. Here’s what some of our golfing ambassadors, famous and not so famous, have to say.

It’s the place where I was born. No wonder I’ve got a soft spot for it.

You can’t drive to our pub, the Ty Coch Inn. You have to walk through a golf course.

Here in the Heart of Wales our golf courses reward a little patience.
