Where is it being played?

The 2010 Ryder Cup will be played on The Twenty Ten Course at The Celtic Manor Resort , Newport, South Wales.


When is it taking place?

It will take place from September 28 to October 3 2010.

The match programme is as follows:

  • Tuesday 28 September - Practice Day
  • Wednesday 29 September - Practice Day
  • Thursday 30 September - Practice Day and Opening Ceremony
  • Friday 1 October - Foursomes and Fourball Matches
  • Saturday 2 October - Foursomes and Fourball Matches
  • Sunday 3 October - Singles Matches and Closing Ceremony

How do I get tickets?

Registration for The 2010 Ryder Cup ticket ballot has now closed. 
 
All-inclusive ticket packages are still available from Ryder Cup Travel Services and corporate hospitality packages from Ryder Cup Hospitality 2010


There will be no opportunity to buy Ground Admissions on the gate.


How do I purchase packages, including travel and accommodation?

Packages can be purchased exclusively from Ryder Cup Travel Services , or if you are travelling from the US, Premier Golf .


How do I purchase corporate hospitality packages?

Where can I buy Ryder Cup merchandise?

You'll be able to buy your goodies at the event, but you can beat the queues by ordering online at the official shop - www.rydercupshop.net . Check out products made by Welsh companies - jewellery and golfing accessories by Clogau Gold and golfing accessories by Asbri Golf.


How do I get to The Celtic Manor Resort?

As in previous Ryder Cups, there will be a Park and Ride scheme in operation to enable spectators travelling by car to visit the event as safely and smoothly as possible.

There will be a car park to the west of The Celtic Manor Resort (accessed via Junction 30, M4) for spectators travelling from Cardiff and the North and West of Wales and one to the east of the resort (Junction 23A, M4) for spectators travelling from east of Newport and England. 

A car park pass must be purchased in advance for each day of attendance in order to gain access to the car parks.

There will be designated Taxi Drop-Off and Collection points at both car parks for those wishing to travel to the event by taxi. 

A shuttle bus service will run between the car parks and The Celtic Manor Resort from Tuesday to Sunday of the event week and will operate from approximately 06.00 until 21.30 daily.

For those intending to travel by public transport, they are advised to make their way to Newport Rail Station where there will be a bus shuttle service to The Celtic Manor Resort.
