

PowerPlay Golf (PPG) is a shorter, faster format of the game where players face the choice of two pins to target on every hole instead of the usual one. The entire televised tournament is played over just nine-holes and instead of waiting four days to find a tournament winner, spectators and armchair viewers alike will see a winner in three hours. The first pro-tournament between males and females took place at Celtic Manor on 30th May 2011. A number of golf clubs in Wales are already signed up to Power Play Golf for amateurs (numerous others are in the process of signing up):
