State-of-the-Art Fitting Centre Opens at Celtic Manor Resort

Titleist bases its fourth British and Irish National Fitting Centre at 2010 Ryder Cup venue.

Celtic Manor Resort at Newport joins St Ives Golf Club in Cambridgeshire, Kings Acre Golf Club near Edinburgh and the GUI National Academy near Dublin as one of the equipment manufacturer’s fitting centres. The centre allows players to benefit from the same fitting processes, equipment and technology used by the pros, ensuring they have clubs that best fit their style of play.

Commenting on the opening, Titleist Golf Club Product and Fitting Manager Richard Temple said: ‘The PGA qualified Fitting Technicians at Celtic Manor have been trained by experts in the field of club fitting, including master wedge craftsman Bob Vokey, and their knowledge, coupled with the technology at their disposal, will ensure that each and every visitor to the new facility will experience the benefits of professionally fitted Titleist golf club products.’
